TRATUM
The world's first Bitcoin swarm mining pool — distributed parallel mining where the whole swarm gets paid. Built for solo miners, home miners, and the BitAxe community. We slice the Bitcoin nonce universe into non-overlapping segments — every miner hunts a different slice, every second counts. No wasted hashes. No overlap. Pure probability.
Traditional pools let all miners search the same nonce space — pure chaos. XTRATUM assigns each miner a unique, non-overlapping slice of the 4.29 billion nonce universe.
Every miner covers a unique nonce range. When you finish your slice, you get a new random one. Zero hash wasted.
Miners start at randomized extranonce2 positions — completing slices in under 60 seconds, generating 100 lottery tickets per minute.
100 small miners at 4–6 TH/s each outperform a single large sequential miner. Mathematically proven across 500,000 simulations.
500,000 simulations. Real math. Parallel distributed mining wins — every time.
Distributed Swarm Hunt approach across 500K Monte Carlo simulations.
Traditional single-miner linear search across the same nonce space.
XTRATUM Swarm Hunt finds targets 1.78 seconds faster than sequential mining.
When someone finds a block, everyone who contributed gets paid. Fair, transparent, effort-based distribution.
The miner who submits the winning hash gets 25% as a direct bonus.
Distributed proportionally to all miners based on total work contributed.
The miner who cracks the block walks away with 25% immediately. Every miner is always one hash away from a life-changing bonus.
The remaining 75% is distributed to all miners proportionally by hashrate contribution during the block cycle. Contribute more, earn more.
XTRATUM charges 0% pool fees. The swarm keeps everything it finds — we're building the community, not skimming it.
Every share submission, every payout calculation is tracked and visible. Real data only — never simulated values.
Point your miner at XTRATUM and start hunting blocks. It's that simple.
You need a BTC address for payouts. Supports Legacy (1...), SegWit (3...), Bech32 (bc1q...), and Taproot (bc1p...) formats.
Set the Stratum host and port on your miner's web interface or config file. We recommend TLS for maximum reliability.
us-east.xtratumpool.com:3334 (TLS)Format: YourBTCAddress.WorkerName — your wallet address determines where payouts go.
Power on your miner. Watch it appear in the live dashboard within seconds. The Universe Slicer assigns your unique nonce range automatically.

The workhorse. ~1.2 TH/s, USB-C powered, perfect for the Swarm Hunt strategy.
TLS SupportedHigher efficiency BM1370 chip, same great form factor. Ideal pair with 601.
TLS Supported~1 MH/s micro miner. Great for learning, small footprint, surprisingly effective in a swarm.
TCP SupportedAntminer, Whatsminer, Avalon — any Stratum-compatible ASIC connects seamlessly.
All ProtocolsClassic mining software? We support the standard Stratum protocol — just point and mine.
Full CompatIf your hardware speaks Stratum v1, it works with XTRATUM. No special firmware needed.
UniversalEverything you need to know about XTRATUM, Stratum Protocol, and swarm Bitcoin mining.
A Stratum mining pool is a server that coordinates Bitcoin miners using the Stratum Protocol — a lightweight TCP-based protocol that distributes block templates to miners and collects their shares. XTRATUM is a Stratum pool that runs a full Bitcoin node and hands each connected miner a unique slice of the nonce universe to search.
You connect your miner by pointing it at us-east.xtratumpool.com on port 3333 (TCP) or 3334 (TLS) — same Stratum v1 protocol every miner already speaks.
Traditional Stratum pools let all miners search the same nonce space — chaotic and wasteful. XTRATUM uses Universe Slicer technology: each miner gets a non-overlapping segment of the 4.29 billion nonce universe. No hash wasted. No duplicate work.
It's a swarm pool — when your swarm finds a block, 100% of the reward goes to the pool participants via the PPBE model: 25% finder bonus, 75% split by measured block effort. No pool operator taking the block reward, and a 0% pool fee — the swarm keeps everything it finds.
Point your miner at the XTRATUM Stratum server with these settings:
Host: us-east.xtratumpool.com
Port TCP: 3333 | Port TLS: 3334
Username: YourWalletAddress.WorkerName
Password: x (anything works)
Works with BitAxe, Canaan Avalon, Antminer, Whatsminer, CGMiner, BFGMiner, and any hardware that supports Stratum v1 Protocol.
Proportional Pay By Effort (PPBE) is XTRATUM's fair reward system. When a block is found:
• 25% goes to the miner who submitted the winning share (finder bonus)
• 75% is split proportionally across all miners based on their share effort during that block
• 0% pool fee — always
Every share you submit earns you a proportional claim on the block reward. The more hashes you contribute, the larger your slice.
Any Bitcoin miner that supports Stratum v1 Protocol works with XTRATUM. This includes:
• BitAxe Gamma, Ultra, Max (ESP32-based open hardware)
• Canaan Avalon Nano 3S and full ASIC units (BIP310 version-rolling supported)
• Antminer S-series and all Bitmain products
• Whatsminer M-series
• CGMiner / BFGMiner software miners
• Any device speaking Stratum Protocol on TCP or TLS
Block hunting with small hardware is a long-odds lottery — but the math improves dramatically with parallel distributed strategy. XTRATUM's 500,000-simulation proof shows the Swarm Hunt approach succeeds 54.73% of the time versus 43.74% for sequential mining.
With small miners like BitAxe running at 1–2 TH/s, a block find at current rewards is life-changing — and under PPBE every contributing miner gets a share. The key insight: 100 small miners find targets 1.78 seconds faster than one large sequential miner covering the same total hashrate. More lottery tickets per minute = better odds.
Stratum Protocol is the industry-standard communication protocol between Bitcoin miners and mining pools. It runs over TCP (typically port 3333) and uses JSON-RPC messages to:
• Send miners a block template (coinbase transaction, merkle branches, target)
• Assign each miner a unique extranonce1 to prevent duplicate work
• Receive share submissions from miners when they find a valid hash
• Notify miners instantly when a new Bitcoin block is found (via mining.notify)
XTRATUM extends standard Stratum v1 with Universe Slicer logic — randomizing the extranonce2 start position across the full 2³² nonce space so every miner hunts a unique territory.
XTRATUM runs on a US-based server in the New York region (us-east.xtratumpool.com), hosted on DigitalOcean infrastructure for low-latency connections across North and South America.
